Non-GMO Products that I Use
Organic Coconut Oil - there is a wide variety of organic coconut oils that you can either buy your local store brand, which is what I do, or take your pick online. Coconut oil can be used to replace vegetable or other cooking oils, as well as, crisco for greasing baking pans etc.
Chocolate Chips - dairy free & non GMO
Almond Milk (chocolate) yummy chocolate milk!
Almond Milk (vanilla + protein) for smoothies, coffee drinks, baking, etc.
Cow's Milk - I think that the brands of cow's milk without hormones will vary regionally. I use it when I am cooking, like in Annie's Mac & Cheese, because the sweet almond milk flavor is a bit much for me in dishes like that. I also buy organic whipping cream.
Bread - I tried several breads before I found one that I like. I really like this brand and their english muffins, tortillas, and pita breads are good too. For crackers, I like Late July Organic.
Butter - Organic Hormone Free
Eggs - These will also be regional brands, but I get organic, cage free. Watch the video on the link above and you will see why. It's not just about being humane to the chickens.
Chicken - cage free, with no antibiotics or added hormones
Sugar - there are also several brands of organic sugar out there, including brown sugar and confectioners or "powdered" sugar
Honey - Definitely buy local Honey from trust worthy sources
I feel confident buying anything with this label (click it to see their website)
Also, I recently started shopping at Costco. They have quite a few organic options for many of the items listed above.
